Dual Diagnosis Clinician

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) has an exciting full time/part time  opening for a compassionate, enthusiastic and skilled dual diagnosis    Adult Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse office-based clinician for our expanding Behavioral Health Services Division at 610 Wampanoag Trail in East Providence, RI.  Join our growing team and enjoy the dynamics of a varied caseload, flexible work hours, support of a multidisciplinary team, and regular supervision/case consultation meetings. East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) provides high-quality, comprehensive and accessible health and human services to assist people to achieve their fullest potential while also striving for high employee satisfaction and work-life balance.

Due to the critical nature of this position to both the community and the organization, EBCAP is offering a two-step sign on bonus totaling $2,000 for external applicants.

The successful candidate will provide office based individual therapy for their assigned caseload. (There is no community-based requirement.) The Clinician will provide thorough diagnostic assessments to ensure connection to appropriate level of care, treatment and goal planning, coordination of services, continuing evaluation of mental health, risk and/or addiction disorders, phone/letter outreach, and discharge planning for their assigned caseload.

Our clinician positions are eligible for the student loan repayment program through National Health Services Corps and the Rhode Island Loan Repayment Program as EBCAP has a competitive HPSA Score of 17.

Dually licensed in Rhode Island as an LICSW/LCDP or an LMHC/LCDP required.   Previous experience with co-occurring disorders/dual diagnosed required. Additional experience in assessing and treating victims of trauma and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) preferred. The successful candidate will have experience in electronic medical record (EMR), however, would receive training in EBCAP’s EMR, which is NextGen.
