Clinical Therapist

Department: Behavioral Health
Location: Barrington, RI

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full time Clinical Therapist for our Behavioral Health Services Division on the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT) at the 2 Old County Road location in Barrington, RI. The successful candidate will provide a wide range of clinical and care coordination services to clients served by the expanding Integrated Home Health Team. This position is office based, however, there may be instances when services are provided to our clients in the community as well as in the office.

The Clinical Therapist works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team comprised of psychiatrist/advanced practice nurse, case managers, peer specialists, substance abuse specialists and nurses. As the clinician you will formulate and implement treatment plans and provide counseling and clinical interventions with the goal of improved independent function.

This schedule for this position is as follows:

  • Monday through Friday; typically, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with one day per week working 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM.
  • Participate in periodic rotation of Saturday hours, resulting in a day off during the week
  • Participate in a holiday rotation by working 1 – 2 holidays per year, resulting in holiday pay and holiday premium pay

A Master's Degree in a Human Services/Healing Arts related field required, LICSW, plus one full year clinical experience preferred. Experience in electronic medical record (EMR) a plus, however, would receive training in EBCAP’s EMR which is NextGen.
