Nurse Practitioner

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner who is licensed in Family/Individual Lifespan. She/He must be compassionate and skilled to provide comprehensive services at our Health Center at 100 Bullocks Point Avenue in East Providence, RI. The Nurse Practitioner would be part of our Accountable Care Organization, providing integrated services to the residents of East Bay. The Nurse Practitioner works under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer and will provide all aspects of patient care including diagnosis, treatment, referral, and consultation. She/He works closely with doctors, other nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants, and support staff to provide high quality care through a multi-disciplinary team approach, serving as the medical home for many individuals and families. She/He may mentor NP interns as time allows.

The Nurse Practitioner must be licensed by the RI Department of Health as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a focus in Family/Individual Lifespan (APRN/CNP). The successful candidate will have experience in electronic medical record (EMR), however, would receive training in EBCAP’s EMR, which is NextGen.
